Rest in the Curve Ministry

Rest in the Curve is our day mission ministry for our sisters and brothers who are without homes or living on the poverty level.  This is a year round ministry and is open the each Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am. We provide a sack lunch, a quite place to rest, friendly conversation, and clothing from the clothes closet. 

If you would like to volunteer to prepare lunch bags, greet and assist our guests, or work in the clothes closet, please contact the office, 883-2321 or . 

We are accepting donations of clothing and shoes for men, women and children.  We are in need of women’s bras and underwear and socks for men, women and children.  You may place donations in the Thrift Smart bin outside the elevator near the nursery area on the 3rd floor.  All are welcome to serve and be served.


Second Harvest Food Bank


The local food bank located at St. Philips Episcopal Church is in need of canned meats (tuna, chicken, chili, stew, chicken and dumplings, pasta with meat), fruit,  peanut butter, canned vegetables, soups, cereal, bagged beans, and oatmeal.  There is a bin located in the narthex outside the sanctuary and a bin in the hall outside the library for donations.  Our team works at the food bank on the 4th Thursday of each month.  Please contact the office for more information.
